Job Summary
Role: Senior Snowflake Developer
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise semantic models to support consistent business metrics, KPIs, and self-service analytics.
Create and maintain dimensional data models, including Star Schemas and Snowflake Schemas, following Kimball methodology and best practices.
Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support scalable analytics and reporting solutions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust analytical data models.
Develop, optimize, and maintain dbt models, transformations, and semantic layers within Snowflake.
Build reusable business metrics, dimensions, and facts for enterprise reporting and analytics.
Implement automated testing frameworks to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability across the analytics platform.
Perform SQL-based data profiling, validation, reconciliation, and performance tuning.
Participate in model governance, metadata management, and documentation activities.
Work closely with Data Engineers, BI Developers, and Architects to deliver scalable, high-quality data products.
Support deployment, release management, and continuous improvement of analytics assets using Agile development practices.
