seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Mechanical Engineer Trainer to develop and deliver engaging technical training programs for our employees and/or clients. In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles to create effective learning experiences that enhance skills and drive performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive training materials, including presentations, hands-on exercises, and assessments, covering a range of mechanical engineering topics (e.g., design, analysis, manufacturing, maintenance, specific software).
- Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions in various formats (in-person, virtual, blended learning).
- Assess training needs and collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure curriculum relevance and accuracy.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and implement improvements based on feedback and performance data.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and training methodologies.
- Maintain training records and track participant progress.
- Provide technical support and guidance to trainees as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and instructional design for technical subjects.
- 4+ years of experience as a practicing Mechanical Engineer/Teaching Experience
- Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- A passion for continuous learning and professional development.
- Added Advantage: Skills or training in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), or the Oil and Gas sector.
