Job Summary
The Front Office Associate is responsible for providing a warm, professional, and efficient welcome to hotel guests. The role involves managing check-ins and check-outs, handling guest requests and queries, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a high standard of guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
- Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
- Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, policies, and local attractions.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, concerns, and complaints.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and other departments to fulfill guest requirements.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment procedures accurately.
- Maintain guest records and update information in the hotel Property Management System (PMS).
- Prepare and maintain front office reports and documents.
- Manage telephone calls, emails, and other guest communications professionally.
- Assist guests with luggage, transportation, wake-up calls, and other services when required.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and follow hotel security procedures.
- Promote hotel services and facilities to enhance the guest experience.
- Follow hotel standards, SOPs, and health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a hotel front office role is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer-service orientation.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with PMS is an advantage.
- Good English communication skills; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Good problem-solving and complaint-handling skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
