Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain system reliability and performance in a dynamic environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of support activities with business objectives.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical and problem-solving skills.
- Continuously improve support processes to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Handson experience in AWS + Python
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture and development strategies.
- Hands-on experience in developing AWS services like Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, EventBridge, S3, EC2, AWS API, Athena
- Hands-on experience in writing lambda functions in Python
- Experience with serverless computing and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
Experience with AWS S3 (Simple Storage Service), AWS Glue, Lambda
Hands-on experience with Kafka flow configurations
Strong understanding of cloud architecture and development strategies.
Hands-on experience with Python and PySpark
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
