About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Stock Market Analyst / Junior Investment Associate to join our Investment Team. The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of the Indian stock market, IPOs, mutual funds, fundamental and technical analysis, along with advanced Excel skills.
Freshers with practical market experience through personal research, trading/investment, projects, internships, or relevant certifications are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct stock market research and analysis to identify market trends and investment opportunities.
- Perform fundamental analysis of companies, including financial statements, ratios, business performance, and valuations.
- Understand and analyze technical charts, price movements, trends, support/resistance, and basic indicators.
- Research and evaluate IPOs, including company fundamentals, financial performance, valuation, and investment potential.
- Analyze mutual funds, including fund performance, portfolio allocation, risk, returns, and expense ratios.
- Track NSE/BSE market movements, sectors, indices, and major market developments.
- Monitor and maintain investment-related data, reports, and trackers.
- Prepare daily/weekly market analysis and investment reports.
- Use Excel for data analysis, calculations, reporting, dashboards, and investment tracking.
- Stay updated with market news, corporate announcements, economic developments, and financial trends.
- Support the Investment Team in research, analysis, and preparation of investment insights.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Strong practical understanding of the Indian Stock Market.
- Good knowledge of Equity, IPOs, Mutual Funds, Nifty, Sensex, NSE and BSE.
- Understanding of fundamental and technical analysis.
- Knowledge of financial statements and basic financial ratios.
- Understanding of risk, return, diversification, market capitalization, P/E, EPS, ROE, ROCE, debt-to-equity, etc.
- Strong knowledge of Advanced MS Excel, including formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF functions, data analysis, charts, and dashboards.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong research and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to interpret financial and market data.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0–6 months of experience in stock market research, investment analysis, equity research, financial services, or a related area.
- Candidates with practical exposure through stock market investing/trading, internships, projects, certifications, or independent market research are preferred.
- Candidates must have a genuine interest in financial markets and investments.
Preferred
- NISM/NCFM or other relevant financial market certification.
- Practical experience using platforms such as TradingView, NSE/BSE, Moneycontrol, Screener, or similar financial research platforms.
- Experience maintaining personal investment/trading records or conducting company/stock research.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
