Amrin Fashion Private Limited is a luxury fashion house specialising in bridal couture, designer lehengas, bespoke fashion, trousseau, occasion wear and contemporary Indian womenswear. We are looking for a creative and experienced Senior Fashion Designer to join our team in Vadodara and contribute to the design and development of luxury fashion collections.
Role Overview
The Fashion Designer/ Senior Fashion Designer will be responsible for fashion design, collection development, fashion illustration, garment development, sampling and fittings, taking designs from initial concepts through to final garments. The role involves close coordination with our production team, karigars, embroidery units, artisans and internal teams to ensure designs are executed to the Company's luxury quality and craftsmanship standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop bridal couture, occasion wear, bespoke and contemporary womenswear collections.
- Create fashion concepts, mood boards, fashion sketches, silhouettes and detailed design developments.
- Research fashion trends, Indian textiles, fabrics, colours, embroidery, embellishments and surface ornamentation.
- Develop embroidery and embellishment concepts in coordination with artisans and embroidery teams.
- Take designs from concept to final garment, including design development, sampling, fittings, alterations and finishing.
- Coordinate with karigars, tailors, embroidery units, sampling and production teams for accurate execution.
- Review samples and finished garments for design accuracy, fit, construction, finishing and quality.
- Work with merchandising and sales teams on client requirements and customised designs.
- Support and guide junior designers, design assistants and interns, where required.
- Maintain the Company's creative direction, design aesthetic and luxury quality standards.
- Participate in client consultations, photoshoots, exhibitions and other design-related activities, where required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Fashion Designer, preferably in bridal wear, couture, luxury fashion, occasion wear or premium womenswear.
- Strong knowledge of fashion illustration, collection development, garment construction, silhouettes and design development.
- Good understanding of Indian textiles, fabrics, embroidery, embellishments and surface ornamentation.
- Experience with sampling, fittings, alterations and garment development.
- Ability to translate creative concepts into production-ready and commercially viable garments.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity and understanding of luxury finishing and craftsmanship.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with production teams, artisans, karigars and vendors.
- Strong organisational, communication and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop or other relevant fashion design software will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹288,000.00 - ₹324,000.00 per year
