About the Role
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Video Editor Intern to join our digital marketing team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for video editing, social media content, and storytelling. This internship offers hands-on experience in creating engaging videos for social media platforms and digital campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn).
- Create Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, advertisements, and product videos.
- Add transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, sound effects, and background music.
- Perform basic color correction and audio enhancement.
- Create engaging thumbnails and simple graphic elements when required.
- Organize and manage video footage and project files.
- Collaborate with the content, design, and marketing teams to deliver creative content.
- Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends and editing techniques.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
- Understanding of video formats, resolutions, and export settings.
- Knowledge of social media content formats (Reels, Shorts, Stories).
- Basic understanding of color grading, transitions, and audio editing.
- Creativity with strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and accept feedback.
Eligibility
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Video Editing, Multimedia, Animation, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- A portfolio or sample edits will be an added advantage.
