Job Description
OHMX Engineering Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced and responsible Electrical Estimation & Billing Engineer / Project Coordinator to manage electrical project coordination, estimation, billing, procurement and commercial follow-up.
The candidate will coordinate between site teams, management, suppliers and clients to ensure electrical works are completed smoothly and project documentation and payments are properly tracked.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and monitor electrical work progress at project sites.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and obtain regular work progress updates.
- Prepare electrical quotations, estimates and BOQs.
- Review quotations and submit them to management for approval before sending to clients.
- Prepare and coordinate material requirements and purchase orders for site.
- Coordinate with suppliers and ensure materials reach the site on time.
- Maintain daily labour attendance and overtime records.
- Track project-wise expenses and labour costs.
- Prepare running bills, RA bills and final bills as required.
- Coordinate with clients regarding bill submission and clarifications.
- Follow up with clients for pending payments and outstanding invoices.
- Maintain proper project-wise records in Excel.
- Provide regular updates to management regarding project progress, material requirements, expenses and payments.
Requirements
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in electrical contracting/project coordination.
- Experience in electrical estimation, quotation and billing.
- Good knowledge of electrical materials, cables, conduits, DBs, panels, lighting and related works.
- Ability to understand electrical drawings and BOQs.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to coordinate with site staff, suppliers and clients.
- Should be responsible, organized and able to work independently.Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in Electrical MEP / Electrical Contracting / Commercial & Industrial Electrical Projects will be preferred.
