Job Description: DevOps EngineerRole Overview
We are looking for a highly capable DevOps Engineer to build, secure, and scale modern cloud infrastructure. This role will own CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes operations, infrastructure automation, production reliability, and platform security. You will work closely with engineering teams to accelerate deployments while maintaining high availability, reliability, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on expertise in GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Nginx, Redis, and modern security practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesCloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineering
● Design, deploy, and manage production infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
● Build scalable and fault-tolerant environments using managed and self-hosted services.
● Optimize compute, networking, storage, IAM, and cloud cost efficiency.
● Manage development, staging, and production environments.
Kubernetes & Containerization
● Deploy, operate, and optimize Kubernetes clusters for production workloads.
● Containerize services using Docker and maintain secure images.
● Manage autoscaling, rolling deployments, ingress, namespaces, and service discovery.
● Troubleshoot cluster, networking, and workload issues.
Infrastructure as Code
● Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform.
● Maintain reusable modules, remote state management, and environment separation.
● Standardize provisioning through version-controlled workflows.
CI/CD & Automation
● Build deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions.
● Automate build, test, release, rollback, and deployment workflows.
● Improve release velocity through zero-downtime deployments.
● Integrate approvals, testing, and security checks into CI/CD pipelines.
Web Infrastructure & Networking
● Configure and optimize Nginx as reverse proxy, load balancer, and SSL termination layer.
● Manage routing, rate limiting, caching, compression, and security headers.
● Handle DNS, CDN, certificates, and network controls.
Security & Secrets Management
● Implement least-privilege IAM access controls.
● Manage secrets, API keys, certificates, and credential rotation.
● Secure workloads through image scanning, patching, and audit logging.
● Maintain backups, disaster recovery, and incident readiness.
Data Layer & Performance
● Manage Redis for caching, queues, sessions, and performance optimization.
● Tune memory policies, persistence, replication, and failover.
Monitoring & Reliability
● Build monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident management systems.
● Define uptime metrics, capacity plans, and operational standards.
● Lead root cause analysis and remediation efforts.
Required Skills & Experience
● 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
● Strong hands-on experience with GCP and Kubernetes.
● Expertise in Docker and containerized deployments.
● Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
● Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
● Strong Linux, networking, and shell scripting skills.
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
