Job Summary
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Hotel Store Keeper to manage the receiving, storage, issuance, and inventory control of food, beverages, housekeeping supplies, kitchen items, and other hotel materials. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring materials are available as required by different departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect all incoming materials against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Verify quantity, quality, specifications, expiry dates, and condition of received items.
- Maintain proper records for all receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.
- Store food and non-food items appropriately according to hotel standards and safety requirements.
- Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO practices for food and perishable items.
- Issue materials to Kitchen, F&B, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and other departments against authorized requisitions.
- Monitor stock levels and prepare replenishment requirements to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
- Maintain proper documentation for damaged, expired, or rejected materials.
- Coordinate with the Purchase and Accounts departments regarding deliveries, invoices, and stock-related discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper organization of the store area.
- Ensure proper segregation and storage of food, beverages, chemicals, housekeeping materials, and other supplies.
- Monitor expiry dates and slow-moving/non-moving inventory.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports as required.
- Operate inventory/store management software or ERP systems for stock entries and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, food safety standards, and inventory control procedures.
- Assist during internal and external stock audits.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a Store Keeper / Store Executive, preferably in a hotel, resort, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of hotel stores, food and beverage inventory, and general supplies.
- Good understanding of FIFO, FEFO, stock reconciliation, and inventory control.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and inventory/ERP software.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
