Position: Service Engineer

Job Summary
The Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and after-sales support of Online UPS Systems, Industrial UPS Systems, Battery Banks, Servo Voltage Stabilizers, Isolation Transformers, and other power conditioning equipment. The candidate must ensure timely service support and customer satisfaction while maintaining company service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning
- Installation and commissioning of Online UPS systems.
- Battery bank installation and testing.
- Site inspection and pre-installation assessment.
- System performance verification and handover to customers.
Service & Maintenance
- Preventive Maintenance (PM) visits at customer sites.
- Breakdown attendance and fault diagnosis.
- Rectification of electrical and electronic faults.
- Replacement of defective components and modules.
- Battery health monitoring and testing.
Technical Support
- Customer troubleshooting support via phone and site visits.
- Preparation of service reports and maintenance records.
- Coordination with service coordinator and technical team.
- Support for Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) activities.
Documentation
- Preparation of service visit reports.
- Submission of expense statements and travel reports.
- Maintenance of service records and customer feedback.
Customer Relationship
- Ensure prompt response to customer complaints.
- Maintain professional communication with customers.
- Identify opportunities for AMC and spare sales.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of UPS systems, batteries, electrical panels, and industrial power systems.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Experience
- Freshers may apply for Trainee Service Engineer position.
- 1–5 years experience preferred in UPS, Inverter, Battery, Electrical Panels, or Industrial Automation.
Skills Required
- Troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures.
- Good communication and customer handling skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word, Email).
Travel Requirements
- Extensive travel for installation and service activities.
- Local and outstation travel as per company policy.
- Submission of travel bills and reports after completion of visits.

- Service response time.
- First-time fault resolution.
- Customer satisfaction.
- Timely submission of service reports.
- AMC and service revenue support.
Salary & Benefits

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
