About the Role
We are looking for an experienced IT Admin Function Lead to own and govern IT administration across the organization and all business locations. This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable IT operations while driving process discipline, audit readiness, and service excellence.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IT operations, endpoint management, identity and access governance, ITSM processes, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
IT Operations & Administration
* Lead day-to-day IT administration activities across all locations.
* Ensure availability and performance of end-user systems, servers, and IT services.
* Define, implement, and enforce IT administration SOPs.
* Manage IT vendors, licensing, and support services.
Endpoint & Device Management
* Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
* Manage endpoint configurations, OS deployments, patching, and system hardening.
* Administer MDM/UEM platforms such as Jamf, Microsoft Intune, and ManageEngine.
* Maintain IT asset lifecycle management and compliance.
Identity & Access Management
* Govern user access and privileged account management.
* Enforce least-privilege access principles.
* Maintain audit trails, approvals, and access documentation.
* Support access reviews and compliance audits.
IT Service Management
* Ensure all activities are tracked through ITSM tools and ticketing systems.
* Monitor SLAs and drive timely incident resolution.
* Maintain reporting, documentation, and change traceability.
Security & Compliance
* Maintain audit-ready IT documentation.
* Support internal and external audits.
* Coordinate with security teams on DLP, PAM, WAF, Zero Trust, cloud security, backups, and threat exposure management initiatives.
Team Leadership
* Lead and mentor the IT Administration team.
* Drive accountability, ownership, and performance management.
* Act as the escalation point for critical IT issues.
Continuous Improvement
* Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR).
* Identify automation opportunities and process improvements.
* Strengthen IT reliability, governance, and security posture.
Required Skills & Experience
Must Have
* Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
* 8+ years of experience in IT Administration, System Administration, or IT Operations.
* Minimum 2+ years of experience leading a team or function.
* Strong hands-on experience with Windows and Linux administration.
* Experience with MDM/UEM tools such as Jamf, Microsoft Intune, or ManageEngine.
* Expertise in endpoint management, patching, EDR, and antivirus solutions.
* Experience in IT asset management, application management, and license compliance.
* Hands-on experience with ITSM/ticketing systems and SLA-driven support.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, SaaS access management, and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
* Proven vendor and stakeholder management experience.
* Strong documentation, reporting, and audit-readiness skills.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and escalation management skills.
Good to Have
* ITIL Certification.
* Microsoft, Jamf, CompTIA, or relevant security certifications.
* Experience in startup, high-growth, or multi-location environments.
* Exposure to DLP, Zero Trust/SSE, WAF, Cloud Security, PAM, and CTEM programs.
* Scripting and automation experience.
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
