About the role
Vaisala is growing its Automation CoE and needs a hands-on UiPath engineer, equally strong in test automation and RPA. The person will start by building S/4HANA test automation to support upcoming S/4 upgrade, then move into RPA and business process automation once the upgrade is complete. Throughout, he/she will use the latest UiPath Automation Cloud and Test Cloud capabilities, including AI-assisted and agentic automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated functional, regression, API, and performance tests in UiPath Test Cloud / Test Manager, integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop attended and unattended RPA solutions in UiPath Studio / Studio Web using best practices (REFramework, reusable components, robust exception handling).
- Orchestrate, schedule, and monitor bots and test sets in UiPath Orchestrator; manage queues, assets, and credentials securely.
- Apply the latest UiPath capabilities — Autopilot, AI-powered test generation, self-healing, and agentic automation (Agent Builder / MCP) — where they add value.
- Partner with business analysts and process owners to capture requirements and translate them into well-documented solutions.
- Maintain automations in production and uphold CoE standards for governance, security, and quality.
Skill Requirements
3–6 years building production UiPath automations.
Hands-on UiPath test automation (Test Suite / Test Cloud, Test Manager) for UI and API testing.
UiPath certification (e.g., Automation Developer; Test Automation Engineer a strong plus).
Proficiency in VB.NET / C#, selectors, REST/SOAP APIs, and SQL.
CI/CD and version control (Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions).
Strong analytical and English communication skills; comfortable in a global, distributed team.
Other Requirements
Nice to have:
SAP (S/4HANA) test automation — UI and API.
Agentic AI / Autopilot and UiPath agent orchestration (e.g., Maestro).
Power Platform or other automation / test tools.
ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.
