Role Summary
The Interior Civil Engineer will be responsible for supervising interior and civil work activities at project sites. The role includes site execution, contractor coordination, quality checking, material monitoring, measurement verification, and project progress supervision. The candidate should have practical experience in interior finishing work, site management, and coordination with vendors, contractors, architects, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Interior Site Execution & Supervision
· Supervise day-to-day interior and civil work activities at project sites.
· Ensure work execution as per approved drawings, layouts, and design specifications.
· Monitor site progress and ensure timely completion of interior work.
· Supervise false ceiling, flooring, partition, painting, furniture fitting, tiling, and finishing work.
· Coordinate with carpenters, electricians, plumbers, fabricators, painters, and contractors.
· Conduct regular site inspections and monitor workmanship quality.
· Resolve site execution issues and provide practical solutions.
· Ensure proper finishing and project handover quality
2. Project Coordination & Planning
· Coordinate with architects, interior designers, contractors, vendors, and clients.
· Assist in project planning, scheduling, and site execution activities.
· Monitor daily site progress and update management regularly.
· Ensure proper coordination between civil and interior work teams.
· Support smooth project execution within timelines and budgets.
· Maintain coordination between site staff and office teams.
3. Quality Control Responsibilities
· Ensure quality standards are maintained during execution.
· Monitor finishing quality of interior and civil work.
· Verify dimensions, levels, alignments, and finishing details.
· Ensure work is completed as per approved designs and specifications.
· Identify quality issues and arrange corrective actions immediately.
· Maintain inspection and quality check records.
4. Material & Vendor Management
· Monitor material requirements and site stock availability.
· Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely material delivery.
· Verify material quantity and quality at site.
· Prevent material wastage through proper planning and supervision.
· Maintain records of material consumption and site inventory.
5. Measurement & Billing Support
· Prepare site measurements and work quantity verification.
· Support contractor billing and work verification processes.
· Maintain work completion records and measurement sheets.
· Coordinate with management regarding project costing and work status.
6. Safety & Site Management Responsibilities
· Ensure safety standards are followed at project sites.
· Monitor proper use of safety equipment by workers and contractors.
· Maintain discipline and cleanliness at site.
· Ensure safe handling of tools, machinery, and materials.
· Report operational or safety concerns to management.
7. Documentation & Reporting
· Maintain project documentation and site records.
· Submit regular updates regarding work progress and delays.
· Maintain coordination records with contractors and vendors.
· Support management with project execution updates.
Required Skills & Competencies
· Strong knowledge of interior and civil site execution
· Minimum 3–4 years of experience in civil construction and site supervision
· Understanding of interior drawings and technical specifications
· Site supervision and contractor coordination capability
· Knowledge of finishing and fit-out work
· Quality control and material management skills
· Problem-solving and decision-making ability
· Good communication and reporting skills
· Leadership and site management capability
· Basic knowledge of MS Office, and site measurement
Qualification & Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering
· Minimum 3–4 years of experience in interior and civil site execution
· Experience in residential and commercial interior projects preferred
· Knowledge of interior finishing work and site coordination required
· Practical field experience in project execution mandatory
Salary: 25 to 30 K per month
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
