Summary:
As an Application Developer, a typical day involves designing, constructing, and configuring software applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. This role requires continuous engagement with evolving project requirements, ensuring that the developed solutions align with organizational goals. The position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver efficient and effective application functionalities that support business operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Monitor project progress and implement improvements to enhance productivity.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Retail.
Should have experience in Blue printing, Fit -gap analysis , RICEF finalization
Should have Implementation experience in 2 to 3 SAP projects ,
Should have worked on RICEF functional designs
Knowledge of Retail functionalities like Purchase Costing / Promotion / Sourcing / Retail pricing / fulfillment and allocation
Good To Have Skills: Implementation Experience in Retail Industry
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
Exposure to green field implementation will be an added advantage.
Functional Experience in Sap retail store operations related to end-to-end retail store execution (Handheld integration, Wholesale operation, Point of sales, Ecommerce) ensuring seamless integration between POS, inventory, promotions, and backend SAP systems
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP for Retail.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
