The Operations Assistant is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the cinema theatre by ensuring excellent customer service, smooth show execution, cleanliness, safety, and coordination with all operational departments. The role requires maintaining high operational standards while delivering an exceptional movie-going experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the smooth day-to-day operation of the cinema.
- Monitor auditorium readiness before every movie show.
- Coordinate with Box Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Security, and Technical teams.
- Ensure movie schedules start and end on time.
- Monitor lobby, ticket counters, café, and waiting areas.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate issues when required.
- Support crowd management during weekends, holidays, and blockbuster releases.
- Ensure cleanliness of auditoriums, restrooms, lobby, and common areas.
- Monitor staff attendance and shift allocation.
- Conduct periodic theatre inspections to maintain SOP standards.
- Assist in opening and closing theatre operations.
- Maintain daily operational reports and incident records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, hygiene standards, and safety procedures.
- Support promotional events, movie launches, and special screenings.
- Coordinate with maintenance for equipment repairs and facility upkeep.
- Assist in inventory monitoring for operational supplies and F&B materials.
Required Qualifications
- 10th & 12th, Any Degree (Preferred)
- Diploma holders may also apply.
- 0–3 years of experience in cinema, retail, hospitality, restaurant, hotel, or mall operations.
- Freshers with strong communication skills may be considered.
