We are looking for a detail-oriented Sampling Merchandiser to manage sample development and ensure timely execution of samples according to buyer and production requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong coordination skills, a good understanding of garment sampling, and the ability to manage multiple developments simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate sample development from design to final buyer approval.
- Communicate with buyers, design, production, and sampling teams regarding sample requirements.
- Ensure timely preparation and dispatch of development, fit, and approval samples.
- Follow up with sampling units for fabric, trims, stitching, and finishing status.
- Maintain accurate records of sample progress, approvals, and revisions.
- Ensure all samples meet quality, design, and buyer specifications.
- Coordinate sourcing of materials required for sample development.
- Track sample timelines and proactively resolve delays or issues.
- Support the merchandising team in new product developments.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of garment sampling and merchandising processes.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple sample developments and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and quality standards.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in a Sampling Merchandiser or Merchandising role.
- Experience in the garment/apparel manufacturing industry is preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
