Key Responsibilities:
- Using Candy for 2D/3D QTO (Quantity Takeoff), resource analysis, subcontract adjudication, and building up, down, or package-based estimates.
- Creating a dynamic link between the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and the project program to ensure time and money are aligned.
- Implementing subcontract management, valuations, cost-vs-allowable monitoring, and cash flow forecasting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Electrical engineering
Experience:
- 8–12 previous experience as a Technical Consultant or Estimator using Candy software within the construction or EPC industry.
- Deep knowledge of Candy software (CCS Candy), MS Office (specifically Excel), and sometimes SQL or other databases..
- Proficiency in Candy, AutoCAD, Excel, and estimation software.
- Good vendor coordination and negotiation skills.
- Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Deep technical knowledge of CCS Candy and often Build Smart.
- Providing technical support to users for complex tasks, such as 2D/3D Takeoffs, resource-based estimating, and cost-vs-allowable reporting.
