We are looking for a skilled CO₂ Laser Machine Operator responsible for operating and maintaining CO₂ laser cutting/engraving machines. The candidate should be able to execute production jobs accurately, ensure quality standards, and meet daily production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CO₂ laser cutting and engraving machines safely and efficiently.
- Load materials and set machine parameters (speed, power, frequency, etc.).
- Import and process design files from CorelDRAW/RDWorks.
- Perform cutting and engraving on acrylic, PET, TPU, vinyl, MDF, paper, and other compatible materials.
- Inspect finished products for dimensional accuracy and quality.
- Troubleshoot basic machine issues and report major faults.
- Clean lenses, mirrors, honeycomb bed, and machine interiors regularly.
- Ensure proper material utilization to minimize wastage.
- Maintain daily production records.
- Follow safety procedures while operating laser equipment.
- Coordinate with the design team for production requirements.
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Required Skills
- Experience operating CO₂ laser machines.
- Basic knowledge of CorelDRAW and RDWorks software.
- Understanding of laser cutting and engraving parameters.
- Ability to read dimensions and production drawings.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Basic troubleshooting and machine maintenance skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience operating CO₂ laser machines (freshers with relevant training may also apply).
- Experience with acrylic, screen protectors, nameplates, or signage manufacturing is an advantage.
Salary
- Based on experience and skills.
Working Hours
- 8–9 hours per day (6 days a week).
- Overtime as required.
