Job Summary
We are seeking a Purchase Officer with an engineering background to manage procurement activities for facade projects. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, vendor management, purchase planning, cost control, and ensuring timely availability of materials required for project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure facade-related materials such as aluminium profiles, glass, hardware, sealants, fasteners, steel, and accessories.
- Obtain quotations, conduct price comparisons, and negotiate with suppliers for the best commercial terms.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) as per project requirements.
- Coordinate with project, design, and planning teams to understand material requirements and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Track material deliveries and resolve supply chain issues.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project specifications.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase documentation.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
- Assist in cost-saving initiatives and procurement planning.
