Role Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Informatica MDM Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) solutions using the Informatica platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Informatica MDM Hub, Data Director (IDD), PowerCenter, and Data Quality (IDQ), with hands-on experience in implementing Match & Merge rules, Data Stewardship, and integrating MDM solutions with enterprise applications. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality data management solutions that support business and data governance initiatives.
Key Responsibility:
Design, develop, and implement enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) solutions using Informatica MDM.
Configure and manage Informatica MDM Hub, Data Director (IDD), and Match & Merge rules.
Develop and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) where applicable.
Implement and manage data quality solutions using Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
Collaborate with business stakeholders and data stewards to define and implement data governance and stewardship processes.
Integrate Informatica MDM solutions with enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs, XML, and JSON.
Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects on Oracle and SQL Server.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing MDM and ETL solutions to improve performance and scalability.
Work closely with architects, developers, and business teams to deliver high-quality data integration and master data solutions.
Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and deployment artifacts.
Participate in code reviews, testing, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5–10+ years of experience working with Informatica technologies.
Strong expertise in Informatica MDM Hub and Informatica Data Director (IDD).
Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
Experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
Experience implementing Match & Merge rules and Data Stewardship processes.
Strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Governance concepts.
Experience in ETL design and development.
Strong SQL skills with Oracle and/or SQL Server databases.
Experience integrating MDM solutions with enterprise applications.
Working knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, XML, and JSON.
Experience with Unix/Linux scripting.
Experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) is preferred.
Knowledge of Java is an added advantage.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
