Role overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Salesforce Business Analyst to act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams. The ideal candidate will have strong Salesforce domain expertise, excellent business partnering skills and hands-on experience in translating business requirements into actionable user stories and solution designs.
This role requires active involvement throughout the delivery lifecycle, including requirements gathering, documentation, user story creation, developer support, SIT/UAT coordination, testing, stakeholder management and production delivery support. The candidate should possess a solid understanding of Salesforce capabilities across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Agentforce and Salesforce AI solutions.
Key responsibilities:
1.Business partnership and requirement management
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, business processes and operational challenges.
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops, discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews.
- Analyze business needs and translate them into clear functional and technical requirements.
- Recommend scalable Salesforce-based solutions aligned with business goals and platform best practices.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business teams throughout the project lifecycle.
2.User stories and documentation
- Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, use cases and functional specifications.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including business requirement documents (BRDs), solution designs and release documentation.
- Ensure requirements are complete, traceable and aligned with business priorities.
3.Solution analysis and technical collaboration
- Work closely with Salesforce Architects, Developers, QA teams and Product Owners.
- Resolve functional and technical queries raised by development teams during implementation.
- Participate in solution design discussions and provide functional guidance.
- Perform initial solution analysis and propose feasible approaches before involving technical teams.
- Demonstrate a willingness to "get hands dirty" by investigating issues, validating configurations and assisting with solution definition.
4.Testing and quality assurance
- Coordinate and support System Integration Testing (SIT) activities.
- Plan, facilitate and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles.
- Prepare test scenarios, test cases and validation criteria.
- Execute UAT testing where required and ensure business sign-off.
- Track defects, coordinate resolutions and validate fixes.
5.Delivery and release support
- Support release planning, deployment readiness and production rollout activities.
- Coordinate among business users, development teams, QA teams and support teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Assist in post-release validation and issue management.
- Monitor delivery risks and proactively drive resolution.
6.Salesforce and AI enablement
- Identify opportunities to leverage Salesforce platform capabilities to improve business processes.
- Provide guidance on Salesforce AI and Agentforce capabilities, including automation, productivity enhancements and intelligent customer engagement.
- Support adoption of AI-driven features and assist stakeholders in understanding their business value.
Required Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience with at least 3+ years in Salesforce-focused roles.
Salesforce expertise
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with:
- Salesforce Sales Cloud
- Salesforce Service Cloud
- Salesforce Experience Cloud
- Agentforce
- Salesforce platform capabilities, security model, automation and reporting
AI and emerging technologies
- Understanding of Salesforce AI capabilities, including Einstein AI and Agentforce solutions.
- Experience evaluating and implementing AI-driven business use cases.
- Knowledge of generative AI concepts and their application within Salesforce ecosystems.
Business analysis skills
- Requirements elicitation and analysis.
- User story creation and backlog management.

- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Business Analyst, AI Associate, or related certifications are preferred.
