Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Interior Projects Site Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the execution of interior design and fit-out projects. This role involves managing the day-to-day site activities, ensuring quality control, and working closely with design and project management teams to deliver high-quality interiors on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior fit-out and renovation work, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily site operations for interior design and fit-out projects, ensuring that activities progress as per project schedules.
- Ensure that interior construction work adheres to quality standards, design specifications, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with designers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that project requirements are met and resolve any site-related issues.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure all work meets specified standards for finishes and materials.
- Monitor and maintain a safe working environment, enforcing safety regulations and procedures in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Manage and track project timelines, reporting progress to project managers and addressing any delays or challenges.
- Maintain an inventory of materials on-site, ensuring timely reordering and delivery coordination to avoid project delays.
- Keep accurate site documentation, including daily reports, inspection records, and incident logs.
- Attend site meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project status and expectations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor for interior projects, preferably in residential or commercial fit-out.
- Strong knowledge of interior construction processes, materials, finishes, and building codes.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting interior design plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with construction and project management software tools.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
