A hotel Purchase Executive is responsible for cost-effective procurement of food, beverages, housekeeping supplies, and engineering materials .
They source reliable vendors, negotiate prices, manage inventory levels, and process purchase orders while strictly ensuring supplies meet quality standards and budget constraints.
Core Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Negotiation: Solicit quotations (RFQs), compare prices, and negotiate favorable terms with vendors to achieve cost savings.
- Procurement Execution: Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) across various hotel departments (Kitchen, Front Office, Spa, Engineering).
- Vendor Management: Build transparent supplier relationships, conduct market surveys, and evaluate vendor performance based on quality and delivery timelines.
- Inventory & Stock Control: Monitor PAR levels to prevent overstocking or stock shortages.
- Cost Control & Auditing: Verify received goods against invoices, process bills with the accounts department, and analyze spending patterns.
