Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer
Experience : 1 to 5 yrs
Location: Ashok Nagar, Chennai.
Responsibilities:
Learning and Development: Participate in training programs to gain familiarity with electrical design principles, software tools, and industry standards.
Assistance in Design: Support senior engineers in designing electrical systems, components, and equipment layouts based on project requirements and specifications.
Drafting and Documentation: Assist in creating technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams using CAD software under the guidance of senior team members.
Analysis and Testing: Conduct basic analysis and testing of electrical systems and components to ensure functionality and compliance with design standards.
Coordination: Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical designs with overall project requirements.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design files, reports, and project progress updates.
Compliance: Ensure designs comply with regulatory and safety standards applicable to the industry and specific project requirements.
Problem Solving: Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues encountered during the design and implementation phases.
For Experienced Candidates (In addition to the above):
Independent Design: Lead or independently manage the design of electrical systems, including creating detailed designs, calculations, and specifications.
Project Management: Manage aspects of electrical design projects, including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and client communication.
Innovation and Optimization: Drive innovation and optimization in electrical designs to improve efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support their professional development.
Client Interaction: Interface directly with clients to understand project requirements, present design proposals, and address technical queries and concerns.
Quality Assurance: Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure designs meet project requirements and industry standards.
Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends to incorporate best practices into design processes.
