The Stock Manager is responsible for overseeing inventory, procurement coordination, receiving, storage, and issuance of all raw materials, packaging, consumables, and finished products within the base kitchen. The role ensures accurate stock levels, minimizes wastage, maintains food safety standards, and supports uninterrupted production across all bakery outlets.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
● Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
● Monitor daily stock movement of ingredients, packaging, and finished goods.
● Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock counts.
● Investigate and report inventory discrepancies immediately.
● Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Receiving & Quality Control
● Receive deliveries and verify quantity, quality, expiry dates, and purchase orders.
● Ensure all incoming goods meet company quality standards.
● Reject damaged, expired, or incorrect deliveries.
● Maintain proper documentation for all received materials.
Storage & Organization
● Organize dry, chilled, and frozen storage efficiently.
● Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) inventory practices.
● Ensure proper labeling, temperature control, and hygiene standards.
● Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and storage area.
Production Support
● Issue ingredients and packaging materials according to approved production requisitions.
● Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
● Track daily consumption and identify unusual usage patterns.
Procurement Coordination
● Monitor stock levels and prepare timely purchase requisitions.
● Coordinate with purchasing and suppliers for replenishment.
● Follow up on pending orders and delivery schedules.
Cost & Waste Control
● Monitor ingredient losses, breakage, and wastage.
● Recommend methods to improve inventory efficiency.
● Assist in reducing inventory carrying costs and minimizing expired stock.
Compliance
● Ensure compliance with FSSAI food safety regulations.
● Maintain accurate inventory documentation and audit records.
● Support internal and external inventory audits.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Hospitality, Commerce, or a related field.
● 2–5 years of inventory or warehouse experience, preferably in a bakery, pastry kitchen, food production, or FMCG environment.
● Experience with inventory management software is preferred.
Skills Required
● Strong inventory control and stock management knowledge.
● Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory software.
● Good communication and coordination abilities.
● Attention to detail and accuracy.
● Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.

● Inventory accuracy above 98%.
● Zero production stoppages due to stock shortages.
● Reduction in wastage and expired inventory.
● Timely completion of stock counts and reports.
● Compliance with food safety and storage standards.
● Efficient stock turnover and inventory optimization.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
