Role Description
A Trainee QA Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Quality Assurance and Product teams in the day-to-day operation of the 9ine Platform. They will be required to design and develop highly accurate test cases, find defects and report them with a strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for 9ine Platform administration, including preparing client environments, onboarding data, maintaining the Help Centre and Release Notes, and coordinating support activities. They will work closely with the Development and Product teams to identify opportunities to improve and automate manual processes across the Platform. The successful candidate must have strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to their daily responsibilities.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Utilising the Service Desk system and 9ine Platform to provide support as required.
- Working with the software development, product, commercial and PMO teams to support the successful administration of the 9ine Platform.
- Carrying out Platform administration activities across the business.
- Supporting 9ine Platform activities, including preparing and maintaining customer and demonstration environments, customer onboarding, importing customer data and support requests.
- Maintaining the Help Centre, Release Notes and other Platform documentation.
- Designing and executing test cases based on business requirements and agreed testing activities.
- Identifying Platform issues and escalating them to the appropriate members of the Development or Product teams.
- Working with the Development team to identify opportunities to automate repetitive Platform administration activities.
- Monitoring the Service Desk and providing support where required.
- Ensuring implementation procedures comply with internal policies and agreed standards.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams across the business to support the successful delivery of the 9ine Platform.
- Handling highly confidential information in an honest and trustworthy way..
Skills and Experience
- Relevant qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant certification in software testing e.g. ISTQB.
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
- Knowledge of test management tools like JIRA, HP Quality Centre/ALM.
- Excellent experience identifying and escalating product issues and data gaps.
- Basic knowledge of networking and security principles.
- Fluency in both written and verbal English.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a desire to work collaboratively to achieve objectives.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and analytical abilities.
