Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Checker to support Solar Turbines System & Components. The role involves independent verification and validation of large assembly models, group assembly drawings, and complex multi-sheet engineering documentation to ensure compliance with customer requirements, engineering standards, and quality processes.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in improving design quality, reducing engineering rework, and driving efficiency through process standardization and automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Review multi-sheet manufacturing and installation drawings for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.

Collaborate with design engineers to resolve technical issues and discrepancies.

Identify recurring quality issues and recommend preventive actions.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce checking cycle time.

Evaluate opportunities for automation and digitalization of engineering checking activities.

Work Experience
Required Skills

Strong experience in Gas Turbine or Rotating Equipment engineering.

Expertise in large assembly and multi-sheet drawing validation.

Knowledge of engineering standards, Welding practices.

Experience with Creo and Windchill preferred.
Preferred Experience

5+ years of relevant experience.

Experience in Solar Turbine, Power Generation, Oil & Gas

Exposure to process improvement and automation initiatives.
