Job Description: Media Buying Team Lead
Duties & Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management:
1. Lead and manage the media buying team, ongoing performance development.
2. Set clear KPIs and ensure team members achieve profit and growth targets.
3. Assign tasks, track progress, and maintain accountability across the team.
4. Provide coaching, performance feedback, and strategic direction to ensure continuous improvement.
5. Foster a results-oriented culture focused on innovation, agility, and profit generation.
Traffic Acquisition & Campaign Management:
1. Drive company profit through efficient traffic acquisition, optimization, and scaling of digital advertising campaigns.
2. Manage and optimize media buying operations across platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, Google Ads, Bigo Ads, Snapchat, and others.
3. Plan and launch new campaigns, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives and compliance with platform policies.
4. Monitor key campaign metrics (ROI, CPA, CTR, CVR, EPC, and ROAS) and adjust strategies accordingly.
5. Identify new GEOs, verticals, and growth opportunities for scaling campaigns.
Optimization & Strategy Development:
1. Analyze performance data to refine audience targeting, bidding strategies, and funnel optimization.
2. Develop and test new creatives, landing pages, and engagement funnels to improve conversion and retention rates.
3. Oversee A/B testing initiatives and implement findings to enhance campaign performance.
4. Introduce innovative marketing concepts and ensure the team stays ahead of market trends.
5. Collaborate with designers, developers, and analytics specialists to streamline campaign execution.
Budgeting & Financial Control:
1. Oversee substantial monthly advertising budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
2. Monitor expenditures, verify spending accuracy, and control campaign costs to maximize profit.
3. Prepare and maintain detailed monthly profit and expense reports, including Quicksight and performance dashboards.
4. Ensure timely and accurate submission of all financial and operational reports to management.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Communication:
1. Work closely with affiliate teams, analytics, product, and finance departments to align strategies and share performance insights.
2. Build partnerships with external affiliates, traffic sources, & ad platforms to strengthen campaign outcomes.
3. Identify & share emerging trends, tools, & best practices with the team to maintain competitive advantage.
Compliance & Process Efficiency:
1. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and platform-specific advertising regulations.
2. Promote the effective & secure use of company resources (advertising accounts, apps, paid tools, & services).
3. Streamline operational workflows to enhance team efficiency and reduce turnaround time.
