ob Objective
The core objective of this role is to balance customer servicing with sales acquisition to ensure business growth and high persistency. Key focus areas include:
Working closely with Defense service employees and business partners to achieve new business and customer retention targets.
Supporting channel partners to deliver higher productivity and facilitating the submission-to-issuance process within agreed timelines.
Protecting both customer and company interests by ensuring strict compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines.
Managing channel partner expectations and improving relationship management.
Key Responsibility Areas
Business Impact: Achieve target numbers for new business, customer retention, and agent/partner activation. Build a healthy pool of lead generators across the defense territory and maintain a product mix with traditional products exceeding 50%.
Stakeholder Support: Provide ground-level support and training to agents and lead generators, make joint field calls, and implement local business development initiatives.
Leadership & Teamwork: Liaise with colleagues across the country to adopt and share best practices.
Operational Control: Maintain a persistency rate of 85%, ensure timely application submissions at HUB locations, and manage First Time Resolutions (FTRs) within 2% to reduce issuance turnaround times.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Financial Metrics: Achieve new business premiums, traditional product mix goals, and customer retention targets as defined by the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). Ensure timely and NIL pending PIR reporting.
Customer & Process Metrics: Keep customer complaints at or below 1% of the book. Achieve defined Sales Force Management metrics, FTR percentages, and customer retention percentages.
Major Challenges & Role Context
Challenges: Driving consistent new and retention business across the assigned territory while skillfully managing multiple agent/lead generator relationships without neglecting any specific area.
Context: The job holder must drive insurance sales by engaging stakeholders through coaching, training, field sales support, and active business development.
Risk Management & Compliance
Operational Risk: Promptly report any operational risks or losses to the line manager and the Risk & Control team in accordance with the Company’s Risk policy.
Internal Controls: Observe internal control standards, implement compliance recommendations from auditors/regulators, and foster a strong compliance culture to optimize regulator relations.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
