BIM Arcavion Private Limited — a founder-led BIM coordination firm based in Ahmedabad and Delhi — is hiring two BIM Tekla Structural Modellers for full-time and contract roles. Scope covers both LGSF (Light Gauge Steel Framing) and general structural steel detailing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
✦ Author 3D structural steel models in Tekla Structures for LGSF and hot-rolled steel work
✦ Design and model steel connections — bolted, welded, plate, multi-member nodes
✦ Generate fabrication drawings — assembly drawings, single part drawings, anchor bolt plans, erection drawings
✦ Extract material lists, weight reports, bolt schedules, BOMs from the Tekla model
✦ Generate DSTV (.nc1) output for CNC fabrication machines
✦ Coordinate with Revit teams via IFC 2x3 / IFC 4 exchange and Navisworks federation
✦ Resolve clashes through the Arcavion CDP Clash Analyser
✦ Maintain Tekla model organisation and version control per project BEP
REQUIRED
✦ 2–3 years minimum production Tekla Structures experience on real fabricated projects
✦ Tekla Structures 2022 or later
✦ Strong understanding of steel grades, bolt grades, weld symbols, and connection logic
✦ Working knowledge of steel design codes — IS 800, AISC 360, or Eurocode 3
✦ Primary expertise in either LGSF / cold-formed steel OR general structural steel — both is a strong plus
✦ AutoCAD baseline for legacy work
✦ IFC export competence
✦ Self-managed, deadline-conscious work style
✦ Clear written and spoken English
PREFERRED
✦ Both LGSF and general structural steel exposure
✦ Connection design software — RAM Connection, IDEA StatiCa, BoltsPro
✦ StrucSoft MWF or FRAMECAD plugin experience
✦ Tekla Open API or custom scripting exposure
✦ Prior work at PEB firms — Kirby, Zamil, Pennar, Tata BlueScope, JSW Severfield — or LGSF firms
✦ Direct fabrication shop experience
✦ Tekla certification
WORK MODEL
Hybrid — first 15–20 days on-site for onboarding and project ramp-up. Hybrid working after. Location would be Delhi.
EMPLOYMENT TYPE
