Position Overview
We are seeking a talented CAD Designer with 2–3 years of professional experience to join our team in Ludhiana. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in CAD software, proven industrial design experience, and exposure to the healthcare industry will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and modify detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for industrial components, assemblies, and products.
- Collaborate with engineers, production, and quality teams to translate concepts into accurate technical designs.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
- Prepare layouts, schematics, and technical documentation for manufacturing processes.
- Revise and update existing drawings based on design changes and feedback.
- Support product development initiatives and contribute to process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
- 2–3 years of CAD design experience (industrial experience is mandatory).
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar.
- Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing processes and materials.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in sheet metal, tooling, or machine design.
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Healthcare industry design experience will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and documentation practices.
