Position: Assistant Professor – Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence)
Department: Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence
Job Location: Madurai Sivakasi Nadars Pioneer Meenakshi Women's College, Poovanthi, Sivagangai District.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Teach undergraduate students in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence subjects.
· Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments, and question papers.
· Conduct theory classes, practical sessions, seminars, and student assessments.
· Guide students in programming, AI projects, research activities, and internships.
· Monitor student attendance, academic performance, and skill development.
· Maintain laboratory facilities, software resources, and academic records.
· Participate in curriculum development, departmental activities, and college events.
· Encourage students to participate in technical competitions, workshops, and certification programs.
· Support research, innovation, and quality enhancement initiatives.
· Perform administrative and other duties assigned by the Head of the Department and Management.
· Collaborate with relevant industries and intership training
Qualifications:
· Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
· NET/SET/Ph.D qualification preferred as per UGC and regulatory requirements.
Skills Required:
· Strong knowledge of programming, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Analytics.
· Good teaching, communication, and student mentoring skills.
· Proficiency in programming languages and AI tools.
· Good organizational, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
Employment Type:Full-Time
Salary:As per college norms and qualifications
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
