About the Role
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Store Manager to oversee factory store operations, inventory management, procurement support, and material flow. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate inventory, timely availability of materials, efficient store operations, and adherence to safety and 5S standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesStore & Inventory Management
- Manage day-to-day store operations and material movement.
- Receive, inspect, store, and issue materials as per company procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock reconciliation.
- Monitor minimum, maximum, and reorder stock levels.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and investigate inventory variances.
- Implement FIFO/FEFO practices and ensure proper material identification and storage.
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
- Raise purchase requisitions based on production requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors for timely procurement and deliveries.
- Compare quotations, support purchase order creation, and follow up on deliveries.
- Resolve material shortages, quality concerns, and supplier issues.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of GRNs, purchase orders, material issue slips, and inventory transactions.
- Generate inventory and procurement reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and audit requirements.
Store Excellence
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping through 5S implementation.
- Ensure safe storage practices and compliance with factory safety guidelines.
- Coordinate effectively with Production, Planning, Quality, Procurement, and Accounts teams.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in store or warehouse management within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in furniture manufacturing, modular kitchens, woodworking, or interior fit-outs is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/inventory management systems.
