Factory Manager – Decorative Lighting & Handmade Paper Manufacturing

About the Company
We are a leading export-oriented manufacturer of premium handmade paper products, decorative lighting, paper lamps, home décor, and seasonal décor products. We are looking for an experienced Factory Manager to lead our production operations and ensure world-class manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete factory operations including Production, Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Dispatch.
- Lead daily production activities to achieve output, quality, and delivery targets.
- Plan manpower, machine utilization, and production schedules.
- Monitor productivity and reduce production losses and wastage.
- Implement and maintain 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement practices.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and export requirements.
- Coordinate with PPC, Purchase, Design, and Merchandising teams for smooth production flow.
- Handle workforce management, discipline, training, and performance evaluation.
- Monitor inventory, raw materials, and finished goods.
- Ensure workplace safety and statutory compliance.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–15 years of manufacturing experience.
- Minimum 3–5 years as Factory Manager / Production Manager.
- Mandatory experience in one or more of the following industries:
- Decorative Lighting
- Paper Lighting / Lampshades
- Handmade Paper Products
- Home Décor Export Manufacturing
- Christmas Decorations
- Gift & Handicraft Export Industry
- Strong knowledge of Production Planning (PPC), Quality Control, Inventory Management, and Dispatch.
- Experience handling 100–300+ workers in a manufacturing environment.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems is preferred.
Preferred Profile
- Experience in export-oriented manufacturing units.
- Strong understanding of quality systems and process improvement.
- Ability to work under production deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
