We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Record purchase, sales, payment, receipt, and journal entries accurately.
- Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers.
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Generate customer invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables.
- Assist in GST compliance, including maintaining records and supporting return filings.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial summaries.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams for billing, inventory, and payment-related matters.
- Assist during month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in retail, trading, or FMCG.
- Freshers with strong accounting knowledge and relevant internships are also encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of accounting principles.
- Hands-on experience with Tally Prime (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).
- Understanding of GST and basic taxation.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with accounting software such as Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or similar ERP systems.
- Knowledge of inventory accounting and retail operations will be an added advantage.
