The Hostel Warden ensures the safety, discipline, and well-being of residents while overseeing daily operations. This role balances administrative rigor with a supportive presence to maintain a productive living environment.
Student Oversight: Supervise daily attendance, enforce curfews, and maintain discipline. Welfare & Support: Act as a mentor and first point of contact for student health or personal issues. Safety & Security: Manage building security protocols and lead emergency response efforts. Facility Management: Inspect premises regularly and coordinate repairs and maintenance. Dining Supervision: Oversee mess hygiene and food quality standards. Admin & Logistics: Handle room allotments, records management, and inventory. Conflict Mediation: Resolve interpersonal disputes and roommate grievances fairly. Community Building: Organize social events and foster a positive campus culture.
