About the Role
We’re looking for a commercially strong Purchase Manager to manage procurement, vendor & brand relationships, negotiations, product availability, inventory, and purchase margins.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end purchase & procurement.
- Plan purchases based on sales, demand and stock levels.
- Negotiate pricing, margins, discounts, schemes and credit terms.
- Manage brands, distributors, suppliers and vendors.
- Monitor inventory, ageing stock and product availability.
- Track purchase orders, deliveries and shortages.
- Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, Logistics and Accounts.
- Monitor schemes, incentives, margins and commercial benefits.
- Drive cost optimization and inventory turnover.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENT
Relevant experience in Electronics & Home Appliances / Consumer Durables is STRICTLY REQUIRED.
Candidates without relevant industry experience will not be considered.
Ideal Candidate
- 5–10 years of Purchase / Procurement experience.
- Strong knowledge of Electronics & Home Appliance brands and products.
- Excellent vendor & brand negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of dealer/distributor networks.
- Strong commercial, analytical and decision-making skills.
- Experience with multi-brand electronics retailers/distributors is an advantage.
