Key Responsibilities
Generate revenue by selling Data Centre Solutions, Server & Storage Solutions to Government Departments and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).
Identify new business opportunities and manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
Lead participation in government tenders, GeM bids, RFPs, and procurement processes.
Handle end-to-end bid management including documentation, compliance, pricing coordination, and submission timelines.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, procurement teams, and government stakeholders.
Coordinate with internal teams including Sales, Presales, Technical, Procurement, Finance, and Operations for seamless project execution.
Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and pricing in collaboration with OEMs and vendors.
Ensure timely response to customer inquiries, clarifications, and post-sales support requirements.
Track sales pipeline, maintain accurate MIS reports, follow-up records, and payment collections.
Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in Government / PSU sales within the IT Infrastructure or System Integration industry.
Strong understanding of Data Centre, Server, Storage, Networking, or Enterprise IT Solutions.
Hands-on experience with tendering, GeM portal, RFP management, and public procurement processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
Self-motivated with a target-driven approach.
Preferred Qualifications
Existing relationships within Government Departments, Ministries, or PSUs will be an added advantage.
Experience working with leading OEMs such as Dell Technologies, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Lenovo, Cisco, or NetApp preferred.
