We are looking for a PHP Laravel Developer who can independently design, develop, and maintain complete websites and web applications. The ideal candidate should be comfortable taking ownership of a project from initial requirements and database design through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
This is a work-from-home position, so strong communication, self-management, and the ability to work independently are important.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive, secure, and scalable websites using PHP and Laravel.
- Independently handle the complete website development lifecycle.
- Convert business requirements into functional web solutions.
- Design database structures and develop efficient database queries.
- Develop backend functionality, APIs, authentication, admin panels, and integrations.
- Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend technologies to create user-friendly interfaces.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services when required.
- Debug, test, optimize, and maintain existing websites and applications.
- Ensure websites are responsive, secure, fast, and SEO-friendly.
- Deploy websites to hosting/server environments and troubleshoot production issues.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and deliver them within agreed timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in PHP/Laravel development.
- Strong knowledge of PHP and Laravel.
- Good understanding of MySQL/database design and SQL.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
- Experience with REST APIs and third-party API integrations.
- Understanding of MVC architecture and Laravel best practices.
- Familiarity with Git/version control.
- Ability to independently design and develop a complete website from scratch.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with the team.
- Candidates should be based in Kolkata, West Bengal.

You should be capable of taking a website requirement, planning the technical approach, designing the database, developing the application, testing it, and taking it live single-handedly.

- Knowledge of Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or similar UI frameworks.
- Experience with GitHub/GitLab.
- Basic knowledge of Linux/server management.
- Experience with website performance optimization and SEO.
- Experience working with payment gateways or other third-party integrations.
