About the Role-
Annie Besant Day School is seeking passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated educators for the subjects of Physics, Computer Science, and Political Science. The ideal candidate should inspire curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and create an engaging classroom environment that supports academic excellence and holistic student development.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver interactive and effective lessons according to the school curriculum. Prepare lesson plans, assignments, tests, and evaluation reports. Encourage conceptual understanding and practical application of subjects. Maintain discipline and a positive classroom atmosphere. Monitor student progress and provide academic guidance. Participate in school activities, meetings, workshops, and parent-teacher interactions. Integrate modern teaching methods and technology into classroom instruction. Support students in projects, competitions, and co-curricular activities related to the subject. Subject-Specific Expectations Physics Teacher Teach concepts of mechanics, electricity, optics, and modern physics. Conduct laboratory experiments and practical demonstrations safely and effectively. Prepare students for board examinations and competitive learning environments. Computer Science Teacher Teach programming languages, computer fundamentals, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. Guide students in coding, projects, and digital literacy. Promote logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. Political Science Teacher Teach political theories, governance systems, constitutions, international relations, and current affairs. Encourage debates, discussions, and analytical thinking. Help students develop awareness of civic responsibilities and global issues. Qualifications-
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in the relevant subject. B.Ed. qualification preferred.
Strong communication and classroom management skills. Prior teaching experience in a reputed school is an advantage. Passion for student mentoring and academic growth.
