Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site HVAC Design Engineer – Cleanroom role based in Chennai. The HVAC Design Engineer will design and develop HVAC systems specifically for cleanrooms, including layout, sizing, and selection of equipment in line with project requirements and industry standards. Responsibilities include performing detailed heat load and airflow calculations, preparing design drawings and technical documentation, and coordinating HVAC layouts with plumbing and other building services. The engineer will work closely with project managers, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure compliance with cleanroom classifications, safety codes, and client specifications. Day-to-day tasks also include reviewing vendor proposals, supporting installation teams with technical guidance, and assisting in testing, commissioning, and resolving design-related issues during project execution.
Profile Requirements:
- Strong HVAC and HVAC Design skills, including system layout, equipment selection, and cleanroom-specific design practices.
- Solid Mechanical Engineering foundation with the ability to perform detailed engineering Calculations related to heat load, airflow, and system performance.
- Knowledge of Plumbing systems and coordination of HVAC with other building services for integrated cleanroom designs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience with relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and MS Office tools for documentation and reporting.
- Familiarity with cleanroom standards, industry codes, and best practices for controlled environments is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
