Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate, innovative, and dedicated PGT Computer Science Teacher to teach Grades XI & XII (CBSE). The ideal candidate should possess excellent subject knowledge, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to inspire students to achieve academic excellence while preparing them for board examinations and higher education.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Computer Science to Grades XI & XII as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Deliver engaging lessons in Python Programming, SQL, Database Management Systems, Computer Networks, Data Structures, and related topics.
- Prepare students effectively for CBSE Board Examinations through regular assessments, practical sessions, and revision plans.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, question papers, practical records, and learning resources.
- Conduct computer laboratory sessions and ensure proper maintenance and utilization of lab resources.
- Monitor student performance and provide individual academic support where required.
- Integrate ICT tools, AI-based learning resources, and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
- Participate actively in school events, examinations, parent-teacher meetings, and academic planning.
- Maintain student records, assessment data, and documentation as per CBSE norms.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote academic excellence and holistic student development.
Eligibility
- M.Sc./MCA/M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
- B.Ed. is preferred.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE Senior Secondary School (preferred).
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum and board examination pattern.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Computer Networks, DBMS, and practical programming.
- Ability to use Smart Boards, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and digital teaching platforms.
Preferred Skills
- Experience handling CBSE Class XII Board practical examinations.
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies.
- Strong mentoring and student counselling abilities.
