Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Maximo Mobile Developer to design, develop, and enhance mobile solutions using IBM Maximo Mobile and the Graphite Framework. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in mobile application development, offline-first architecture, enterprise integrations, and modern UI development using the Carbon Design System. This role requires close collaboration with functional teams, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and customize IBM Maximo Mobile applications to support business operations.
- Build responsive, user-centric mobile interfaces using the Carbon Design System and Graphite Framework.
- Develop and maintain application components using JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Integrate mobile applications with Maximo and external systems through REST APIs and Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).
- Implement and optimize offline synchronization, data caching, and conflict resolution mechanisms.
- Develop and troubleshoot Oracle SQL queries, views, and data integrations.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and compliance with enterprise standards.
- Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning across mobile environments.
- Support deployment, upgrades, and production issue resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the application lifecycle.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in mobile application development.
- Hands-on experience with IBM Maximo Mobile and Graphite Framework.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Experience developing interfaces using the Carbon Design System.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and web service integrations.
- Experience with Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database and Oracle SQL.
- Experience implementing offline mobile capabilities and synchronization strategies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- IBM Maximo Certification.
- Experience with Red Hat OpenShift or containerized deployments.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) processes.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
