Experience
Minimum 5+ Years of relevant experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
Qualification
· PGDIS (Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety) or
· ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety)
· Textile industry experience will be preferred.
· Good knowledge of Factory Act, Fire & Safety, and EHS standards.
Salary
₹30,000 – ₹45,000 per month (Depending on experience and interview performance)
Key Responsibilities
· Ensure compliance with all statutory safety regulations, Factory Act, and EHS guidelines.
· Conduct daily safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions and unsafe acts.
· Prepare and implement safety policies, procedures, SOPs, and work instructions.
· Organize toolbox talks, safety training, induction programs, and awareness sessions for employees and contractors.
· Conduct risk assessments, HIRA/JSA, and recommend preventive and corrective actions.
· Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases and submit detailed reports.
· Ensure proper use of PPE by all employees and contractors.
· Monitor hot work, work at height, confined space, electrical work, and other permit-to-work activities.
· Inspect and maintain fire protection systems, firefighting equipment, emergency exits, and evacuation plans.
· Coordinate mock drills and emergency response activities.
· Maintain all safety records, statutory registers, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
· Liaise with government authorities during safety inspections and audits.
· Conduct contractor safety management and monitor compliance at site.
· Promote a strong safety culture through employee engagement and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Coordinate with production, maintenance, HR, and other departments to ensure safe working practices.
Required Skills
· Excellent knowledge of industrial safety regulations.
· Good communication and leadership skills.
· Strong observation and problem-solving abilities.
· Experience in accident investigation and root cause analysis.
· Ability to conduct safety audits and prepare compliance reports.
· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
· Knowledge of ISO 45001 and other EHS management systems will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
· Experience in the Textile Manufacturing Industry.
· Self-motivated and capable of handling safety operations independently.
· Strong documentation and reporting skills.
· Good interpersonal and team coordination abilities.
· Willingness to work in shifts if required.
