About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and result-oriented Production Engineer / Production Executive to manage manufacturing operations for LV & MV Switchgear products. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical panel manufacturing, production planning, shop floor management, and quality-focused execution.
The role involves ensuring smooth production activities, meeting delivery targets, maintaining quality standards, and leading the production team efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute daily production activities as per schedule.
- Manage manufacturing of:
- RMU Panels
- VCB Panels
- Compact Substations (CSS)
- LT/HT Panels
- Control & Metering Panels
- FRTU Panels
- Supervise assembly, wiring, busbar fitting, testing, and dispatch processes.
- Manage manpower allocation and improve shop floor productivity.
- Coordinate with Design, Quality, Stores, Purchase, Planning, and Testing teams.
- Ensure production meets IEC standards, approved drawings, and customer requirements.
- Reduce defects, rework, and improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Maintain production reports, work orders, and ERP/MIS updates.
- Drive safety practices, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualification & Experience
Education: Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Experience Required:
- Production Executive: 2–5 years in electrical panel or switchgear manufacturing.
- Senior Production Engineer: 5–12 years in RMU, VCB, CSS, LT/HT panel manufacturing.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of LV/MV switchgear manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of:
- Electrical panel assembly
- Busbar systems
- Control wiring
- Mechanical assembly
- Testing procedures
- Ability to read GA drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.
- Knowledge of IEC standards and quality systems is preferred.

- Ability to achieve production targets under deadlines.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems is an advantage.
