JOB DESCRIPTION – TGT MATHEMATICS TEACHER
Position: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – Mathematics

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and passionate TGT Mathematics Teacher to join our CBSE school. The candidate should have strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to make Mathematics engaging and easy to understand for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics for Classes VI to X as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver effective lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Develop students' conceptual understanding, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Conduct assessments, class tests, assignments and examinations.
- Evaluate students' performance and provide timely feedback.
- Identify learning gaps and provide appropriate remedial support.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Integrate ICT, smart boards and innovative teaching methodologies wherever appropriate.
- Maintain lesson plans, student records, academic documentation and assessment records.
- Participate actively in school activities, meetings, events and academic programmes.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic progress.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and the academic team.
Educational Qualification
- B.Sc./B.E./B.Tech. with Mathematics or equivalent qualification
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Candidates must have a strong academic background in Mathematics.
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred.
- Experience handling Classes VI–X will be an added advantage.
- Freshers with excellent subject knowledge and communication skills may also be considered.

Salary will be commensurate with qualification, experience and competency.
