We are looking for a Security and Compliance Lead who is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to protecting enterprise systems and data. This role involves monitoring security alerts, identifying vulnerabilities, responding to incidents, and strengthening the organization’s overall security posture. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, hands-on security experience, and a deep understanding of modern cybersecurity practices and frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts, logs, and events to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, security scans, and penetration testing to uncover risks.
- Investigate security incidents, drive timely resolution, and maintain detailed documentation.
- Implement, configure, and maintain security tools such as firewalls, endpoint protection, and SIEM solutions.
- Support the development, enhancement, and enforcement of security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Work with IT teams to ensure applications, systems, and networks follow secure-by-design principles.
- Conduct user awareness sessions and promote cybersecurity best practices across the organization.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and metrics related to vulnerabilities, incidents, and compliance.
- Stay current on emerging threats, evolving attack techniques, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in information security or IT security roles.
- Strong understanding of information security principles, technologies, and practices.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management tools.
- Familiarity with security frameworks/standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, SOC 2, HIPAA, or HITRUST.
- Experience in incident response, threat analysis, and basic digital forensics.
- Knowledge of networking protocols, Windows/Linux OS, and cloud security across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility.
