Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Specialist with experience in claims reconciliation and general insurance accounting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of claim accounting, reinsurance accounting, SAP, Excel, and month-end financial closing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly claims reconciliation and resolve outstanding items with IT, Claims, and Reinsurance teams.
- Prepare balance sheet schedules, including Outstanding Claims, Agent Deposits, Client Deposits, and Refund Payables.
- Coordinate with Operations to clear pending reconciliation items.
- Manage fixed assets, capital work-in-progress (CWIP), and depreciation accounting.
- Support month-end closing activities, including advance premium, long-term, and outstanding claims accounting.
- Prepare MIS reports and provide financial support to Analytical, Reinsurance, and Actuarial teams.
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of financial processes.
Required Skills
- 4–6 years of experience in Finance/Accounts, preferably in the General Insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of Claims & Reinsurance Accounting.
- Hands-on experience with SAP and Advanced Excel.
- Experience in month-end closing and financial reconciliations.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
