Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Leadership
- Lead and monitor the implementation of the academic curriculum in line with CBSE/school guidelines.
- Prepare and oversee academic calendars, timetables, lesson plans, assessments, and examination schedules.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and provide coaching and feedback to teachers.
- Mentor, train, and evaluate teaching staff to enhance instructional quality.
- Monitor student performance and implement strategies for academic improvement.
- Ensure timely completion of the syllabus and adherence to academic standards.
- Organize teacher training, workshops, and professional development programmes.
- Maintain academic records, reports, and compliance documentation.
Admissions Management
- Lead the end-to-end admissions process from enquiry to enrolment.
- Counsel prospective parents regarding the school's curriculum, teaching methodology, and facilities.
- Monitor admission enquiries, follow-ups, and conversion rates.
- Conduct school tours, academic presentations, and interaction sessions for prospective families.
- Collaborate with the admissions and marketing teams to achieve enrolment targets.
- Plan and execute admission drives, open houses, and promotional events.
- Prepare and review admission reports, enquiry trackers, and conversion MIS.
Parent Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents through regular communication and engagement.
- Address parent concerns, academic queries, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Lead Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs), orientation programmes, and parent engagement initiatives.
- Promote a positive school experience that supports student retention and parent satisfaction.
- Resolve academic and behavioural concerns in collaboration with teachers and school leadership.
- Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Education or a relevant subject.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE/K-12 school.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in an academic leadership role.
- Experience in admissions counselling and parent engagement is highly preferred.
